Can you believe it is already here? I can't. But can I say I am glad? I really am. This is the winter time I like. I like the cool crisp mornings and the first snowfalls that are so fresh and beautiful. I love the Holiday season and listening to Christmas music and having lots of family for Thanksgiving. I also love that I have roughly 4 weeks left of my first semester of grad school! I am so glad I decided to go back to school. It has been so great learning new things and meeting new people.
With the departure of October also came the conclusion of our Saturday morning training runs. Which I am a little sad about. But I am mostly happy because what we were actually training for went fabulously. The Halloween Half Marathon. Jeni explains it perfectly and I refuse to compete with her descriptions, so go here to read about our experience. It was my favorite race to date.
The other day I completed a take home test that took me close to TEN hours. Yes, you heard me, TEN HOURS. It was pretty horrible. However, to celebrate I rewarded myself with some mind numbing online shopping. Okay, more like online browsing because nothing was purchased. And I became obsessed with Anthropologie's earrings. I am a sucker for earrings and will always choose them over any kind of necklace or bracelet. If I had an unlimited amount of money to purchase jewelry, here is what I would buy:

Yay for our half, for November, for almost being done with this semester, and for your fabulous vacation!
And I am the same about earrings. I wear them every day, but I rarely wear or buy any other kind of jewelry. Everything else drives me crazy!
Cara, you look so fab! I totally admire you for doing the half. I wanted to do it but got too lazy to train.
